Does Consciousness Evolve?, p. 5
Life is uncreated, uncaused, non-derivative, self-existent and self-radiant; matter is therefore the precipitation of life; matter is precisely a secondary derivative of life and not the converse which is the unproven dogma of our time. It is not at the beginning of existence, it is an endpoint of one of its possible trajectories. The animate precedes the inanimate, hence the so-called azoic period of geology never existed as has been shown by British Biochemist Morley Martin, Charles Littlefield and others. Energy moves from the greater to the lesser and this is the very definition of potential energy. It is on this basis that motion of any kind is even possible. On the universal scale, therefore, the origin of man, or of any form cannot be less than itself. The origin of man is man, or what is greater than man. Hence the origin of man is a theogony, not a special creation ex nihilo, but a divine genetic descent that follows the strict mechanisms of a cosmo-biology and it is the demonstration of this thesis that lies at the center of my first book The Cosmic Origins of Species. Man still bears the marks of this descent in his very structure, in the morphology of his form and in the mechanisms of his nervous system, a key to which is the central tube or psycho-cosmic axis which I have called the sushumna nadi. The primacy of life and consciousness in the universe and not of "inanimate matter," as required by modern cosmology, means that the universe flows from the greater to the lesser in all the dimensions of consciousness, life and existence. In accordance with this perspective, every star is a manifestation of a field of intelligence, for where there is light there is consciousness and therefore life. A constellation or a given star is thus an integration of living beings with a common genetic lineage. All beings within our solar system pertain to the solar lineage but adapted to the earth's gene pool whose hyperdimensional 'locus' is the 'sphere of the moon'. In principle, any other beings existing or which have existed in our local universe may have a solar origin but adapted through a local gene pool. Just as stars generate stars and all originate from "the mother star" which is the galactic center, the genealogical descent of the species from 'the mother star' is obviously a complex matter. Empirical science has no basis upon which to either refute or confirm these observations and only fragmentary allusions to this cosmogonic procession have been preserved in the protohistorical traditions. However
that may be, this much is certain: the rediscovery of these principles
is inherent in the realization of consciousness itself, and specifically
in 'the descending realization' that I have considered throughout this
work. No rummaging around in the past is necessary. In that case consciousness
is discovered to be primary, non-originated and self-existent. This
discovery will be found to turn the whole edifice of modern science
upside down. THE
